The Church of Saint George or Bet Giyorgis, is an incredible monolithic church in Lalibela, a city in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. It is the most famous and best preserved out of the group of eleven churches (all UNESCO World Heritage Sites) which remains the main pilgrimage place for Ethiopian Orthodox Christians.
